Oceana Group Limited (Oceana) is a South Africa based company, which is
principally engaged in
fishing business. The company, through its
subsidiaries is engaged in catching, processing and procurement of
marine species including pilchard, anchovy, redeye herring, lobster,
horse mackerel, squid, tuna, abalone, hake and other deep-sea species.
It is also engaged in the marketing of canned fish and French fries, as
well as providing bulk cold storage facilities in South Africa and
across the world. Oceana principally operates through three reportable
segments, namely, Inshore Fishing, Mid-water and Deep-sea Fishing, and
Commercial Cold Storage. Oceana is headquartered at Cape Town in South
Africa.
